Tried out a few different colour combinations for leopard print nails! I wasn't sure what colour combo would work best so tried a few out on my right hand! I chose to go with the peach and light blue (China Glaze "Peachy Keen" and Colour Club "Take Me To Your Chateau" and loved wearing these nails this week! I will also definitely be wearing the lilac-y blue and yellow option next though :) (Models Own "Beths Blue and 17 "Sherbet Lemon". Anyone have any other good colour combinations I could try?

Quick little video on how I styled my hair this morning! Usually I style my hair this way as I'm not a huge fan of straight hair on me. All I use is some ghds and a little bit of hairspray :) Sorry about the crappy photo booth quality!

Now I'm not usually a lover of french manicured nails but once in a while I get the urge to have them and I've been loving them this last week! No doubt I'll get bored of them and want some colour soon but I'm loving the effortless yet chic look that can be achieved with them. I used a nailene 'white french tip pen' which came in a set alongside a french manicure nude colour and a topcoat (pictured below). However this time I opted for Nails Inc's Elizabeth Street as my base instead which gave me a more opaque colour.

What do you think, are you a lover of french manicured nails or love a bit more colour?

1. Makeup Bag from Primark. I love the leopard print and don't think it looks like its from Primark!
2. 'Bold Liner' pencil from Topshop in the colour Burnish. I've been loving using this dark bronzey brown shade in my waterline as a softer option to black.
3. Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer, shade 51. Good for on the go touch ups.
4. Mac Studio Careblend Pressed Powder. Good for if you get shiny throughout the day and provides a little bit of coverage too.
5. Mac 182 Kabuki brush. I use this with my pressed powder to give a lighter finish than using the sponge that comes inside the compact.
6. - 11. Too many lip products! I'm terrible for carrying around too many lipsticks and glosses. These are currently my favourite;
6. Mac 'Viva Glam Gaga' blue tone pink, looks great accompanying black winged out liner.
7. Mac 'Hue' Glaze. My FAVOURITE lipstick ever, its the only nude-y shade which suits my pale complexion, it looks slightly pink tone on me and more of a nude tone when I'm wearing fake tan. Perfect.
8. Boots 17 Mirror Shine, 'Bee-Hive'. Similar colour to my own lips, sheer colour which leaves a pretty sheen to the lips. Great for a no makeup-makeup look!
9. YSL Rouge Volupte 'Lingerie Pink' Love this lipstick, its a pale pink that smells of melon, yum :) It dosn't last that long on my lips though but the packaging more than makes up for this!
10. Jemma Kidd Hi Shine Silk Touch Lipgloss, '17 - Petal'. Great for wearing over Hue lipstick as its a peachy nude colour, the peachy tones are great and don't leave you with washed out lips. Smells nice too and was free with a magazine. Bonus :)
11.Topshop lipgloss, 'Daze'. Very similar colour to Viva Glam Gaga, so great to wear over the top for a longer lasting colour, stays on the lips for ages!
12. Comb, for any hair emergencies and backcombing for some volume!

Just some photographs from this past weekend :) It was my Birthday last week and a trip down to London was my present from my boyfriend. We stayed at the Crown Plaza in an executive suite with terrace (the posh-est place I've stayed in all my life!). It was an amazing weekend full of lots of lovely memories. We ate cakes from The Hummingbird Bakery (the carrot cake cupcake was my fav!) saw The Lion King at the Lyceum, ate yummy sushi, braved the newly opened Forever 21 on Oxford Street (a nightmare of huuggee queues may I add!) and ate noodles from a box on the roof terrace. Perfect :)

So I've decided to start posting my 'nails of the week' just because I paint my nails that often that thought it'd be better to pick my fav instead of posting about them all! I'm one of those people that A. Gets bored with my nails far too easily B.The first sign of a chip and I'll re-paint them and most of all has a gigantic nail varnish collection. (I may post about this soon so you can see just how bad its got! haha)

Anyway..I used some teeny little brushes to paint this vintage-y looking rose design which I bought off ebay - similar found here
My favourite way to get some nail art inspiration is to take a look on weheartit under 'nail art'
